I personally don't know how it could make you lose weight either!
I think it's the fact that people would be focusing on drinking more green tea and not thinking about that snickers bar or extra snacks. Ya know how some people get something in their head (drink green tea and you'll lose weight) and then they subconsciously make it happen by dwelling on it by actually eating less fatty foods and drinking more tea(less calories.)

Green tea has no calories and when I drink a cup of it, I am just not very hungry for about 2 to three hours. No need to explain. Just drink some. I LOVE IT. IT HAS HELPED ME LOSE WEIGHT. I drink green tea and eat nuts (when I feel hungry, just eat a handfull of almonds, peanuts, pistachios, etc) from the time I wake up until 1 pm or so. Maybe eat salad for lunch then a regular small meal for dinner. Sugarfree popcicles for treats.
It's working for me. Try green tea. Put lemon or lime in it if you don't like the taste. G'day!

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.
I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.
It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.
Get started today!

Green Tea, the common name for Carmellia Sinensis is an herb that has been used for weight loss because of its thermogenic attributes
Thermogenesis actually helps boost your body temperature and burn excess calories. The primary thermogenic component of Green Tea is caffeine. It also has two other related components called theobromine and theophylline that help to boost metabolism. Neither of these components can be found in coffee. So although coffee is similar, it does not have the thermogenic properties of Green Tea.
Green Tea also contains antioxidants to help neutralize free radicals which can damage healthy cells.
Green Tea contains No calories, No carbohydrates, No Protein, and No Fat. It also provides about 10 mg of potassium per serving. Potassium is a nutrient that is also present in bananas.
hope this helps to answer it

If you only drink green tea with nothing added to it and don't eat a single piece of food you should lose a whole bunch of weight.

Green Tea has traditionally been used to support mental function, promote digestion, reduce flatulence, and to regulate body tempature
as far as helping with weight loss, there are several companantes to this herb. mainly it stimulates lipolysis br preventing the breakdown of cyclic AMP. Cyclic AMP affects hormonal messages within a fat cell. This "message" helps to amplify the response of a fat cell to aderaline, the hormone that tells it to burn fat. Green Tea is also valuable here as an established antioxidant and as a moderate stimulant, further assisting the underlying function.
