I'm 28 and a year ago I met this girl at work and she's 20. We had our second date on Friday. Beth texted me telling me she was gonna leave work 5:30. My ex, who is my roommate texted her twice, the first msg she sent Beth was acting as if it were me and telling her that I had to go help Jamie's parents and I wasn't able to make it for the date. Then second msg was Jamie telling her who she was and that she needs to ignor my calls. It was starting to get after 5:30 and still hadn't heard from her, so I call her and I got hung up on the first time I tried to call. The second time I actually got to talk to her and she was very upset with what was going on and I told her I didn't know what Jamie had done. Beth came over and showed me and well things resolved. one thing lead to another and yea, so amazing, just wow. (I also feel there's a possibility that that's why I'm so broken hearted now, but anyway) She stayed the night and since the first day I saw her over a year ago.

I've always thought she was the most amazingly beautiful young woman and never in a second, did I ever think I'd be where I was at that exact moment. She was actually there in my arms, at my place... Well things changed and I don't think I'll ever forgive myself for the things that happened following when she got up. We started to watch another movie and I got the brainy idea to let Beth screw around with Jamie, since Jamie did that to Beth the previous morning. So Beth texted her and told her she needs to get moved out and some other similar things. Then Beth had me call Jamie and Beth heard Jamie say she loves me and she wants to come back home... Beth got suspecious and regardless what I tried or said, Beth didn't believe me and up and left. She told me she does care for me, otherwise she would of immediately shoved me out of the way and left.

She brought up the excuse she's only 20 and she's got alot of life to live and she just told me she doesn't want to hurt me anymore and she has to leave, cause she could hurt me more, I told her i don't want an engagement, i just want to be w/ her. I don't know what to do. Jamie got back and called her, trying to resolve the conflict she caused and Beth said it was alright and said she'd call me in a day or two, but nothing... the following day Jamie attempted to call her multiple times and finally at 1AM Sunday night, she got a hold of her and gave me the phone and we talked for like 5 minutes if that, she said what happened on saturday is not really the issue, it's that she does and she doesn't want a tied up in a relationship and that's the story, I can't eat that good and just down and out when it comes to feelings and emotion. I really care for her, but I don't know what to do to get her back, I'd do anything...HELP PLEASE!!

Encouraging the immature games (Beth to text Jamie) got you in a bad situation. Beth is right for pulling away because if you will treat Jamie bad, you would do the same to her if you split up.
Learn to treat all people with respect (even those you don't like) and you will get a wonderful, intelligent, mature woman who loves you.

Send her some flowers, and give her the space she wants for now, thats all you can do. Dont make the mistake for chasing her everyday, for she will continue to run, believe me.

You need to forget her and move on with the rest of your life. She is hurt and may not want you back regardless of what you do to try to get her back, however she may come back herself if you leave her alone.
