Anyone that says a 19 year is illegal is just plain wrong about it. If you're not into her, then do her a favor and tell her to take a hike. It'll sting, but she'll thank you for it later. If, on the other hand, you want her and she truly wants you, then she is right. Age, or rather of legal age, makes very little difference.
One word of caution though: Fact is you're 42. You've probably been through many stages of life that she may want to go through herself. Be ready to either go through them, again, with her, or end it before it starts because it will happen. She's 19. She may think she's lived, but she's not old enough to have experienced the trials and tribulations that make a well adjusted adult.

scott stop fooling yourself. you know the age gap is there and it hasn't stopped you from dealing with her. you are having some slow foreplay, but sex is inevitable if you keep this up. you sound pleased as peaches about her interest in you. i'm sure she is aware that you are much older, thats probably the attraction for her. you don't feel that strange or the foreplay and continued contact would not be happening. i think this girl makes you feel sooo good...you just had to tell somebody. well you've done that, now what? she's barely legal so you say. you better ask for id and be sure she is 19 and not 17, 16, 15 ......

Forget the idiot who said it's illegal. She's over 18 so it's legal.
I'm close to your age and I work at a college, so I'm around girls that age all the time. And I gotta tell you - they are pretty, they are fun to be around, but they are like kids. I want to protect them more than I want to date them. There is so much about life they don't know yet. And it's nearly impossible to have good conversations because their world is so much different than mine.
Look, if you want to have some fun, go ahead. But nothing long term should come from this.

Trust me, she just wants you to be her Sugar Daddy. I am 18, and the only reason that I like most of the older guys that I do is because they already have a life, and they are ready to settle down.
Maybe she just wants you because she is ready to get married. That is why the guy I'm almost-seeing is 27. I know he is mature and ready for a relationship to turn marriage serious. But, if you are THAT much older than her, I think she just wants you to take care of her. It's that Hugh Heffner thing; young girls want him so he can "provide" for them.

If you dont want desire to be with her, then stay clear of alone time with her, because "IT" will happen! Just tell her that you cant be with her and that you hope she understands why.

i am 25 years older than one of my girlfriends, i feel pretty damn good about it..sooooo, go for it... if she is 19 ..she knows what she is doing, so give her some of your experience and enjoy life, because you KNOW it goes fast!
