but i am sure that i had used it a week before...how could the sound recorder be deleted all of sudden..

Check if in the control panel (Add/remove software) if the program you're talking about is in there. If it was'nt there, maybe there's someone who deleted it. If someone deleted it, you should use system restore also located in control panel.

Just go to control panel add/remove program es and select
add and remove/components and in that just select accessories and reinstall all the application and restart the system

GO TO A PROGRAMMER AND REINSTALL ALL WINDOWS PROPREITIES OF WHAT EVER THE VERSION IS AND BEFORE THAT RUN ANTI VIRUS.
