hey, can a low thyroid be the result of emotional numbess, i can feel anxiety for a bit or any other emotion for a few seconds then jus disppears. i feel sluggish, tired, get fatigued easily, am depressed, low interest....my metabolism is hella slow, this cud be the cause of a low thyroid, i sometimes even drift off into nothingness quickly, get fuzzy headed at times, sometimes my eye sight goes bit.....help me

Yes, the fatigue, lethargy, and sluggishness that you describe are all classic presenting symptoms of hypothyroidism (low thyroid).

It is unlikely that you have an iodine deficiency (unless you live in a third-world country), so your thyroid may be under-producing thyroid hormone, or due to some other cause. You should see your doctor about determining the cause, and appropriate treatment.

Yes. With the sluggishness, depression , tiredness and fuzzi headedness it is low thyroid. Get to a doctor, get a blood test for TSH,

More like a lack of iodine in the diet, get u some Kelp tablets and thyroid will be a thing of the past.

a low or high thyroid can give you all kinds of problems. the standard answer is the doc.
