Spirits don't exist. They are myth.
People see things they don't recognize and the brain is more than ready to anthropomorphize it. Our brain is geared to recognizing people, so we see them in anything, even a grilled cheese sandwich. It doesn't mean they are really there. There's no reason for spirits to exist, and there is no real evidence of them being there. There is much evidence to suggest why people see them when they aren't there.

i tell you the truth, I get visitations of specters and faces all around me, all the time. but they are silent and no message is received, though some seem to be trying to say something. I see their faces clearly.
However ONE day I was praying in front of a group of priesthood elders and as my eyes were closed I beheld a light appear, and as i watched him and continued praying, the light became a form of a man far away, and then the form became visible almost only a few feet away from me. I could definitel See his face. but the experience was overwhelming that i opened my eyes and in the middle of a sentence said OUTloud WOW.
YES, the faces of spirits can be seen. but a person can also see the personage but not pay attention to a face that is veiled.

It depends on your definition of the word see.
If you mean actually see something physical then the answer is no. Spirit is non physical so there is nothing physical to see.
If by see you mean experience in some form then the answer is yes. Spirit can be experienced in a number of ways.

If you mean spirits as in dead relatives and such,no. They are really demons trying to deceive you. They are not of God.
