Its not founded on the Christian religion. Jefferson and Adams said so explicitly.

We have a common ancestor with monkeys about 40 million years ago. If thats your understand of evolution I feel sorry that education failed you.

As for dog marriage I've seen that that already goes on - I'll guarantee its mainly Christians that have their pets wed in this manner, too.

LOL!
Oh thanks so much for the laugh this morning!
You ARE kidding right? I mean no one could honestly be this ignorant and still have enough brain matter left to type...
America is not a christian nation, never was. The founding fathers, if anything, were Deists. This has been proven hundreds of times and it's not up for discussion. America was founded on the idea that people could come here to ESCAPE religious prosecution. Meaning that america is an ANYTHING nation.

As for your comment about evolving from monkeys... groan not another one of these idiots. Look, I'd explain it to you, but clearly you wouldn't understand...

Oh and babies don't get aborted, foetuses do, BIG difference.

As for same sex marriage, you have a problem with extending civil rights to same sex couples? After all, marriage is a LEGAL contract first and foremost, not religious.

And it's impossible to marry a dog, can dogs enter into legal contracts? Do try and think for once in your life before you post this sort of crap ok? It only illustrates your ignorance...

They call America a Christian Nation because that is what the majority consists of. Christianity has different sects to it, so there would be conflict as to which sect is correct and which is incorrect. There are also different versions of the Bible.

To be free everyone should be able to believe in whatever they want. Also, not everyone should be forced to follow something they might not believe in. People's beliefs change as well. You cannot mandate religion, that is not what a free society consists of.
Human ancestors came from apes, not monkeys. Evolution is science, which has nothing to do with religion.

Because, in reality, we are not a 'Christian' nation. Our country was founded on Judeo-Christian principles, but the premise of America was freedom, including freedom from religious persecution. We, as a nation, have been blessed because for many years we embraced Christianity - our leaders, for the most part - were Christians and most of the people followed Christianity. We have fallen from that path. Yes, people can point to the dark things our nation has done - but in comparison to the good things, they pale. We, as a nation, have always given to others - more than any nation in history. We have provided for the poor. We have helped those in need. But we are now so enamored by political correctness and instead of doing the right thing, no matter how hard that might be, we compromise our ideals so as not to offend anyone. We take the easy path, even though it's not the correct path. "For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more." We, as a nation, will be held responsible.

us of a isn't a Christian us of a, it in order that takes position that lots of the electorate are Christian. us of a believes in religious freedom, that we are able to pick to worship whoever or in spite of we pick to. If the structure were swapped for the Bible, we does no longer be any more effective powerful than the human beings interior the Salem witch trials. might want to you truly pick your Christian friends to exhibit on you and kill you because they theory that what you probably did wasn't adequate to delight God? The Bible might want to correctly be interpreted to grant justification to deliver American impact into each us of a interior the international. that could want to intend that us of a might want to have justification for taking up the international and killing each non-Christian. after all, God killed all non-Christians interior the tale of Noah's ark, so why couldn't us of a do an identical interior the call of God? also, women human beings might want to be demoted to an identical social position they were at 1000 years in the past. No balloting, no job, they'd basically stay at homestead and look after the children. No, us of a is more effective powerful as a rustic of religious freedom, with the structure as our authorities and not in any respect the Bible. besides, i do not imagine the Bible supplies a structure for a Democratic Republican authorities. :D

America is not a Christian nation. It is a nation with quite a lot of Christians in it.

Don't forget that many of the founding fathers of the nation were really Enlightenment Deists who dressed up their deism with a convenient contemporary cloak of Bible Christianity.

A couple of centuries later... the shallow roots are more easily exposed... the fruit is on the tree...

All the things you named, and there are so many others, this should be clear signs to you that this country is NOT a Christian nation.
Look at those in charge. And the thing that gets me is when a candidate for office claims to be Christian, but then when asked if their faith would be a determining factor when making decisions in office, they always say no.
No, this is no longer a Christian nation.

We should live like Jesus taught us to live then we would not be screwed up like we are now after 911 if we would of prayed and obeyed Jesus the whole world would of taken care of the problem but because vengeance was in order you can see what has resulted from that .vengeance is mine saith the Lord He did not say vengeance is yours dont let Me God do it you do it that is why America is in the shape it is in now.The Bible says the foolish will confound the wise. You cant fight evil with evil you fight evil with love if it was good enough for Jesus and He said to turn your cheek Jesus would of taken care of the problem DAH

Is America a christian nation? The way it is going I would say it is founded in christianity, but to say it is still a christian nation would upset a lot of people. I'm not sure if you could still call it that.

That's some nice trolling you're doing here.

Firstly, America is not a Xian nation.

Athesits, or more correctly atheists, are not the ones with the majority of the political power. It's actually the Xians passing these laws.

No school anywhere that is accredited is teaching that people came from monkeys. We came from a common ancestor that we share with apes.

Fetuses are being aborted. Babies are being born.

You're comparing gay people to animals? You're a pillar of enlightenment, my trollish friend.

What's going on right now is a proof that Man seem to always forget the one who put him into existence. God has nothing to do with all the crazy things that are going on. It's all of the Devils work. Only he could have gotten involved in this stuff!
