Don't panic honey. Have you shown this to your Mom? It may simply be dry skin, but it shouldn't be oozing. So ask your Mom to schedule an appointment with your doctor right away so you can get it checked out and taken care of.

Never be scared about your body. If anything is wrong, have it checked out right away. It's always better to know about something then to worry about it.

As for the poster above, children can and do get cancer at any age. So never dismiss a concern simply because a person is young!

On a worst case scenario it could probably be some sort of cancer.

It might also be a infected milk gland or something like that.

Best thing for you to do is to go see a doctor and get it checked out asap. I can imagine you might feel it being embarrassing to go to a doctor for this, but it's best to get it checked out and threated in whatever way it needs as soon as possible.
I am sure if you ask you should be able to get a female doctor if that makes things easier.

Could be many things ..infection is one thing. THen again it could certainly be inflammatory breast cancer.

I don't mean to scare you, Kelly. But get to the Doc immediately. Ask about inflammatory breast cancer. They will need to do a punch biopsy to rule it out. Mammogram (kind of like an xray) won't rule out this kind of breast cancer.

THis kind of breast cancer is rare in ladies your age, but you do have the symptoms and it is fast growing. However, if caught early, it does respond to chemo. Most women with inflammatory breast cancer are age 20-mid-forties but it has been diagnosed as early as age 12.

My good friend has it and is going through chemo right now. It started out as a pink spot that looked like a rash on her breast. Doc said not to worry. 2 weeks later, her entire breast was reddish pink. Then he realized his mistake. Her treatment is working. She will be okay.

Get it seen today by nurse or mom. Get Doc appt asap, though.
I wish you well.

It could be an allergic reaction to laundry detergent or fabric softener. Let your Mom or someone take a look at it for you. If you don't feel comfortable with that, show the school nurse (she has seen it all!) It's probably nothing major, but if it has been there for that long, something needs to be done. It would be a good idea to keep the rash clean, and moist with some antibiotic ointment until you have it looked at.

in simple terms, if it is a red rash, it usually means a skin irritation, this could be backed up by the oozing but if it is a brown rash it could mean something is more seriously wrong. but i suggest you have it checked out for either reason

Good question! You are right ask questions. The best way to prevent any disease is to get educated and if you see any thing that is not normal you should check it.

Rash is not normal no matter what. It does not means it could be something serious but it is a sign that our body give us to check it.

It is very wrong if you notice something and don't ask or tell your parents..

good luck

Being you are 15, it could be your bra size...If your bra is too small or too large it will irritate the area of the nipple.
Evalute you size and see if its time to change your bra size.
See you DR
