not all muslims believe in the same thing you see on the nightly news. The perticular group of men you see do not have the same beliefs as the rest of the Muslim religion. They have reinterpreted what Muhammad as said. They believe it is thier will to destroy what is wrong with this world. And if they do so they will be in heaven and be served with wives. This is what they believe. Not all Muslims have this belief and are very peaceful people.

Muslims who do quote the Old Testament are really quoting sections of the Quaran.. Some sections resemble that of the bible...I think anyone who believes the crap they do need to justify it somehow. People use the Bible as a literal text...That is wrong.

Muslims do not quote the Old Testament. They quote the Quran/Koran, which includes Muhammeds re-write of portions of the Old Testament. They reject the Old Testament as used by the Jews and Christians, claiming that it has been altered from its original content. And that the Quran corrects the errors in it.

(Unless it is a verse that they can use to advance their beliefs, and suddenly that line of the Old Testament is correct....)

So put the Muslim violence on the correct text, the Quaran, not the Old Testament.

The Muslims don't quote the old testament. They quote the Koran. While there is violence in the old testament, it was in the form of wars that were commanded by G-D. Today we have no prophecy. But the Muslims say that anyone that doesn't accept Muhammad as the prophet (or something like this) is an infidel and must be killed. And that is definitely from the Koran.

True. They would be better off quoting the violence of Christians today. That would be much more relevant. And they could also point out the more recent history of Christians, than when the Bible was written/edited together. Christians have a long history of violence. So, you're right. They don't have to just limit themselves to the Old Testament.

Because Christians view themselves as a peaceful and holy religion. But the facts that the Christians has blame and said that Muslims are evil and very uncivilized.

In my point of view (as a atheists) the Christian are no better then the Muslims when it comes to doing violent things.

You see if you look at the history of Christianity , you would see a history of violent that are out pass the Muslims violent ways of today.

the Christians had enslaved people of differences race.

the Christians had destroyed other people because of there different beliefs.

the Christians are the ones who did the most damage to Innocent people who had no desire to fight them , but instead share , and make peace just like my ancestor form south Africa did when the Christians came and made us slaves, and also called us the "Children of hell " because we were black .

Christians are no better or no worse then the Muslims and that's a fact

because there is only 2 ways to get rid of evil, in the world.

one is persuade men to believe in repentance and to practice forgiveness so all can live together in peace.

or the other is to completely and utterly destroy every living thing.

Blood shed brings peace and cleanses the earth, but at the cost of family and freinds. it is a quick way to rid evil but it is very costly to the soul of those that survive. Long suffering too is an endless tribulation to live among people that will not repent.

but if God is proven to Command the Jews to destroy the godless and the wicked, then there is clearly a righteousnes in the very commandments to do such a thing. After all it was Enoch who had such a greater faith that he said to a mountain to move and fall upon the invading army. and i believe it was done and i think Jesus tried to reference the act of Faith directly to Enoch himself.

This 'poor violence' is de facto puzzling to reconcile with a loving God. I used to have faith that no relatively loving God might enable such atrocities to happen, much less under his order. this is the optimum reason i became into as quickly as agnostic. Then i began out examining approximately how depraved and vicious the Canaanites relatively have been. to offer you a concept, they burned their very own toddlers to dying as sacrifices to their 'god' Molech. Their barbarity became into so large that God ordered the Israelites to kill them. it relatively is not a lot mindless violence because it relatively is righteous judgment. So, quickly, sure the OT violence became into poor, and sure, it became into justified.
