The term "Blessing" has a lot of meanings:
- Blessing could be a gift or something that you received freely from someone else or from God.
- Blessing could also be something like the one performed in a newly built house or structures.
- Blessing is a sort of approval from parents or any religiuos authorities...

The spread of a brilliantly light morning sky is a blessing! There are many "things" that could be defined as a blessing but the best blessing is when God helps me overcome the religion I grew up in that lied to me!!!!!!!!!!!!

a blessing is a gift, a special gift. It doesn't need some extraordinary things to happen in our life just to say we are blessed. the mere waking up in the morning may mean a blessing. the fact that we still have your breath is a blessing.

As I understand it the word blessing means "covered with blood" which would suggest that blessings are those things we receive as a result of the atonement of Jesus Christ. In Ephesisans 1 it says that we have received "every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ." So blessings would include our peace with God, Grace of God, God's choice of us, our redemption, forgiveness of sins, an inheritance in heaven, eternal life, etc.
