I have used the peeled baby carrots you buy in the produce section in a bag. I simply put them in a frying pan with some butter and olive oil on low heat and fry them until they are browned on all sides. They stay a little firmer then boiled carrots and are really yummy. You can always add seasoning to them as well.

to fry carrots you need to cut them the shape you want (possibly like fries not smaller), then you put them into a colander with some salt and put a plate on top. on top of the plate put a weight and leave them for 2 hours in this way all the excess water will go away. now put the carrots into plain flour so that they are covered by it and fry them immediately and enjoy. there is no easy or heathy way to fry carrots though

Depends on the size of your carrot!!
baby carrots are best to experiment with.
Make a parcel out of cooking foil, put in the carrots ( that have just been washed not peeled and leave some of the green top bit on!) , sprinkle with crushed cumin seeds i handful of fresh thyme leaves about 4 knobs of butter and then one glass of chardoney. seal up your cooking parcel stick it in the oven and cook for about 45 mins. YUM YUM

if you prick the carrots with a fork all the way to the middle then put them in a tray of hot oil in a pre heated oved they take arround 20 mins to cook and tast well nice you could always put a onion in with them and the juices from it will go into the oil and flavour them more

If you cut them into about 1 inch pieces they should roast a bit quicker, try covering them in olive oil and a little rosemary, sea salt and black pepper ..... Yummy :-)

In the event it's a fruit they have seeds, otherwise it's a vegetable. And vegetables are usually grown in the ground while fruits are grown in trees.

yes, about 20-25 min, if a little smaller than a quater, but keep an eye on them, as they shrivel up (if they do, they are really scrummy, but i can't imagine there would be much vitamin c left!!!)
