I just want to know if it really fixes your credit and that the money you pay them is worth it. I want to make sure there is no fraud involved.

I've heard they do some good things, however, what they fail to tell you is any credit "counseling" you opt for, since you're paying for it, will show up on your credit and can do some pretty bad damage. My husband is a car salesman and says they don't even call the finance companies for people who come in to purchase a car with credit counseling on their credit reports, because it shows lack of responsibility. It says to the lender that you are simply not a good credit risk because you can't handle your debt. So you should decide if credit counseling is worth the damage it will do to your credit score.

What they do is they dispute every item in your credit report. This has the effect of temporarily making your credit report look a lot better because the companies have to remove it while it is in dispute. But then the companies come back with proof that their reporting was correct and it goes right back onto your credit report (and the credit repair company already has your money). Think about it this way--have you ever forgotten about someone who owes you money? No. And neither have financial institutions--and they keep fantastic records, regardless of what a company that's trying to sell you something says. You're better off putting the money you'd pay the credit repair company towards the debt that you owe.

I prefer American Credit. They are a non-profit and offer a money back guarantee. Their's is a year long program and they give you online access so you can watch as negative items drop off your credit report. Additionally, one of the main differences is that they challenge ALL inaccuracies/negatives with EACH letter series. They don't just pick and choose to drag the process out.

You need to check out this video on how to increase your credit score by using a 100% legal loophole. Here is the video URL: http://www.creditscoresecret.org

I was able to get to 595 from 489 in just one day and from 489 to 748 in just a few week; that's pretty fast in my book. Good luck!
