Yes I believe with all my heart that they go to heaven. God created them, and there will be animals in heaven. Read the Book of Isaiah Chapter 65 verse 24. If God has given us anything to bring US happiness on this earth, why would He not give us our *babies* in heaven to keep bringing us that happiness. God does not take back what He gives us. Please READ the 65th Chapter WITH your daughter and you and she will be very happy in this question she has asked you. IF you want more verses to read please email me and let me know and I will be more then happy to help you both. I have TWO wonderful babies, (Cats) and I know that they will be there to meet me if the Lord sees fit for me to be with Him on that day. I am not God, and do not claim to be, so I cannot judge myself to say I will be in heaven. I just try my best to please Him. The answer I have given you is IN the Word of God, and God does not lie, so I know it is TRUE.

Nowhere does Scripture explicitly state that animals do not have souls...There is nothing in Scripture I know of that would preclude the possibility of animals' continued existence...The Bible does give us some reason to hope that departed animals will be restored. We read in the Bible that redemption is a cosmic matter. The whole creation is destined to be redeemed through the work of Christ (Romans 8:21), and we see the images of what heaven will be like; beautiful passages of Scripture tell us about the lion and lamb and other animals being at peace with one another.(Isaiah 11:6-8). Whenever heaven is described, though it may be in highly imaginative language, it is a place where animals seem to be present. Whether these are animals newly created for the new heavens and the new earth, or they are the redeemed souls of our pets that have perished, we can't know for sure.

I do believe people go to heaven, that's just my opinion, we are all gods creations and that is where I would like to think my animals go too. Until someone can prove otherwise, I would and will be telling my daughter her cat/dog has gone to heaven. Its not lying, I think it is a great comfort for a little person, its what you would "like" to believe. If anyone says we shouldn't lie to children, isn't Santa Claus a little white lie, if it gives the child some comfort, I don't see any harm, when she is older, she can form her own opinions.

There is nothing else apart from human beings that goes to heaven. Only human beings go to heaven. Animals and trees and so on don't go to heaven, why? Because everything else in the world apart from human beings were spoken into existence by God, example, let there be light, let there be animals of all kinds, big and small.
With us God took the soil and created us in HIs image and then He breathed life into our nostrils and that's why we have souls. otherwise if animals go to heaven then plants and water and so on also go to heaven.
We have fellowship with God, we He cares about and loves us, I'm not saying God doesn't love the rest of His creation, I'm just saying God can speak any animal into existence again into heaven but us He can't because we are His special beings and we recieved the commandments, the love, Jesus Christ dying for us, us having a communion with God, us knowing the difference between right and wrong and us being tempted by Lucifer. I hope I could help. So do animals go to heaven when they die? NO.

This is such a great question....and anyone who believes in heaven and has loved an animal wonders the same thing...
I tell my children that I don't know....but that it would be hard to imagine how it could be heaven without our beloved pets there!
I've found the greatest way to teach my children about the beauty and mystery of God and heaven is to tell them that I don't know (no one does!) the answer to a lot of their questions....that way, I have more credibility with the things I really do know and believe.
Hope this helps!

I am not Catholic but I remember reading about St. Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals and the environment. This website may help. www.americancatholic.org. Then when you are on that site search for St. Francis of Assisi and you will see a section on pets. This site mentioned about animals and heaven. It mentioned that in Genesis that God's love and care extends to all creatures.Noah's ark suggests that God wanted all creatures to survive. There was quite a lot of detail on the topic so it will be a start for you Have you heard the song "God sees the little sparrow fall" check out the lyrics that confirm God loves all his creatures. For those of us who believe in God, why wouldn't God make a place for our pets too?

A lot of people say they do go to heaven, however nowhere in the bible does it say that. If I was you, I would tell her the truth, that you are not sure and that it would be wonderful if they did though. Truth is always the best.

If you don't know what to tell her, say you aren't sure and ask her what she thinks. Then talk about what she thinks and how that makes her feel. I've found that even little children can come up with answers to all sorts of things. If she is asking, she has probably thought about it and has some idea. She'll love talking about it and it will build her self-esteem if you show interest in her ideas.
she might even help you find clarity in your own beliefs!

Nothing (no one) goes to heaven when they die. They go to the grave (it is like sleep) to await the resurrection. Almighty YHVH did not tell us (in Scriptures) how pets would get to the new earth. He made them in the first place, and called the entire creation "very good", so I am reasonably certain that there will be animals in the new earth. Tell her that the Almighty certainly has thought of those things, and He has promised that it will be very good. That means that everyone will be very impressed and happy with the solution that He makes.

Be honest. Tell her only what you know, and that is they die. That all living things die. You can tell her that perhaps, they may turn into angels, but you are not sure.
You don't want to tell her something that you don't feel is correct for yourself just to make her feel better. You can teach your child the concept of acceptance on things that are beyond our control in life.
You can tell that she can hope that they may turn into angels, but it's okay if that does not happen. At least , they are not suffering now.
If your belief changes later, you can teach her what you learn for yourself. She can come to her own truth from what she learns from you.
