My 5 month old kitty does the same thing to me. It just means that she is comfortable around you, and she likes you.

Cats love heights and a good vantage point for watching little things that move here or there. Plus they feel safer near you while being curious and exploring a new scene

It means that your kitty wants to be near you. I have a cat on my lap right now that does the same thing.

I had a cat like that a long time ago SO CUTE, but usually I would say it means 1) CAT loves you 2) he/she feels safe when you are around 3) he/she is VERY attached. 4) YOUR LUCKY!
