I have had it since last summer, I thought at first it was a mosquito bite, but it had never disappeared. It is more like a patch of thick skin, white in colour and very very itchy. It's only small, maybe just a bit bigger than a bite. I have tried everthing to get rid of it, now and then the top layer peels off, but it just thickens up again. Could it be some sort of insect bite? It has never bled, but it never got tanned either in the summer.

No, it's not where my shoe is, it higher, just above the ankle bone. Also I am in my 30's, so asking my parent isn't really option. Lol. Thank you though.

I had the same type of thing, but it was on my arm. Turned out to be a wart of some kind. I used a Compound-W band aid to get rid of it. I had it since last summer also. It's still going away, I may need to do one more round to get rid of it altogether. I wasn't sure what it was, but mine didn't itch like yours.
You may want to see a dermotologist about it.

Is it in a place where your shoe rubs? It could be a corn, callous, or athletes foot. If you are living at home, show it to your mom/dad, they might be able to tell what it is. If not, get a nurse or doctor to look at it for you. It's probably nothing too serious.
