10-12 at night and up to 2 hours in the day now that your baba is more active he/she should not need to sleep more than that in the day but every baby is differant its just a case of trail and error good luck and make sure u have a routine its the best way to have good sleep paterns.....

My one year old hates to sleep! At the creche, they tell me that they have to take her out to the playground when the other babies are sleepingso that she doesn't wake them. When she's at home with me, she wakes up at about 7-ish, i bathe her and feed her b-fast, she sleeps at about 8.30 till about 10.30. She then stays awake till about 1-ish, then sleeps till about 2.30. Then she is awake till about 9.00pm. Nothing i do will make her sleep earlier. Sometimes she skips the afternoon nap and is then awake from 10.30 till about 7pm.

She is a very healthy and playful girl. no probs at all. I guess all babies are different, and therefore have diff. sleeping patterns and needs.

She sleeps well from 9pm till morning, only waking up a couple of times for 'tata' (water).
