It is not unusual. I'm happy that you live in peace with your family. Wanna trade?

I have fall outs with my mum occasionally, but they never last long, we always make up very quickly and it is usually over minor things. I fell out with my older brother for almost 4 years we did not speak. He accused me of something I did not do, and would not believe me, but I was not going to apologise for something I had not done, so we were at a stale mate. It was only when I got proof that I had not done the thing he accused me of that he started to talk to me again, although he has never apologised for accusing me wrongly. I have let it go though as I would rather be speaking to him than not, and I don't think I should make matters worse again by demanding an apology, everyone makes mistakes.

I'd say it's very unusual. I cannot have a 3 minute conversation in person or on the phone with any of my siblings it always ends up in an argument over some very trivial crap. I try to avoid them as much as possible.

Unusual according to my family, yes. I have 3 brothers and 3 sisters, one of each is younger than me. I get along with my sister whom is 4 years older than me and my brother who is 2 years younger than me. As for the other realtionships, they barely can be in the same room without negative comments towards one another or someone being catty.

You are very fortunate that you have such a close relationship with your siblings. I envy you. I am close with my sister but my brother never reaches out to me.

I have 3 sisters. I am always caught in the middle of their fights. One sister is ALWAYS right, no matter if she is or not. She gets a cobb up her ________ and makes everyone miserable with her attitudes. It's her way or no way!

My brother and I are in our mid 20's and we fight quite often. However, my mother and her brother get along quite well. I think that your family's personalities mesh well together and, unfortunately, my brother's personality and my personality do not.
