If you mean common - yes it is but it's all some people can afford and so it's gotta be a great place I think. If it wasn't for places like this a lot of people wouldn't get to go on a family holiday and that would be awful. Hurrah for Blackpool ***

i don't think that blackpool is a common place at all.it has a lot of things for all age ranges.the kids have the sea and the sand, the teens have the arcades or shops, the adults have the pubs and clubs for the day or hen/stag weekend and the old folk choose what they will out of the list.

Yes - like many seaside towns unfortunately, they have lost their trade to far of foreign places - no money in these places...however with global warming our British seaside towns may regenerate, that would be fab. Blackpool does continental cafes, art markets, street entertainment and culture! Bring it on.

Well it's a cheap place to go. Most of the hotels are basic and affordable. It's a place to have fun though. I wouldn't really care as long as I was enjoying myself! Welshelf if your gonna be condescending at least spell your own sentence correctly.

Yes, it's dead too and filthy. There are a lot of people living there who are on benefits, rather like Hastings, not much employment. The pavements are filthy, I saw a seagull pick up a chip off the pavement, spit it out and fly towards the south to St Anne's which is much more upmarket and clean......well, that's what we laughed about..lol

for chavs and other such scum i think you will find. besides it's far easier and just as cheap to go abroad. hardly surprising they never got the go ahead with the super casino. there would be blue murder after all the giros had been blown.
