1. Can bring in cases of Leukaemia due to exposure to UV.
2. Fossil fuel usage. (automobiles, cooking fuel, deforestation)
3. a. Loss of topsoil due to absence of roots.
b. Depletion of forest habitat
c. adverse effects on animal's (thus)

d. Melting of polar Ice caps
e. Rapid changes in climate.

4. Deforestation cannot be prevented.
We're too much dependent on trees, from paper to elaborate furniture. we can replace it by Afforestation (extensive, as tree tays years to grow, yet seconds to cut down)

Global warming can be dec. by less use of green house producing fuels : h2 cells, solar cells. (whenever poss)

5. Plant lotsa trees as they take in co2 there by reducing the green house gas. (2 in 1)

Either 2 things:
1. We'll meet Ice Age shortly & die (hopefully meet Mammoths b4 dying).
2. May be we get adapted to the changes in temp.

6. Green house effect: entrapment of gases which elevate the temp of earth by trapping infrared waves of longer wavelenth.

7. OF course!! BAD & yes it does affect climate.

8. conservation isn't related at all in my view.

9. Need for paper, etc... use of aerosols, CFC's & fuels Main cause however is MAN.

10. I ask them to plant trees, cos it's difficult to stop using CFC's aerosols, fuels etc (however with the advent of Microwave the fuel usage has kinda reduced.)

11. To an extent. plant TREES TREES TREES (use of fuel is inevitable, trees can convert co2 into o2, thereby reducing adverse effect)

12. Species: man, as nothing else goes about cuttind down trees or use fuel & no one in particular (if you expect me to state a part. name) all of us inhabit the earth isn't it??

Well, for a start, make sure you get a balanced set of sources to answer your questions.

Here are some for you to start with...

First, a very interesting speech by Michael Crichton about how crises tend to get exaggerated...

http://www.michaelcrichton.com/speeches/complexity/complexity.html

Second, a couple of articles by Christopher Monckton. He used to advise Margaret Thatcher about science scams. Basically, his job was to look at the science behind any issue and check whether what's being reported was fairly representing the facts. These articles are his findings, using this process, on global warming...

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/main.jhtml?xml=/news/2006/11/05/nwarm05.xml
(Be sure to read his "references and detailed calculations" in the link near the top of page one. Lots of interesting stuff in there.)

Al Gore actually wrote to the Telegraph and attacked the above articles. You can see Monckton's response here...

Enjoy! :)
