to reduce hips-: Skipping and brisk walking is a very good exercise for your hips.

You cannot "spot" reduce fat from any area. Watching your diet and exercising will help you lose weight whilst weights and repetition exercises will tone you. Swimming is a good all-round toner

Ooh I wish I knew the answer! ;-) Seriously, though, running seems to help, I guess it shakes the fat around a bit or something? You have to be careful not to build up muscle too much with running, but gentle running can really help streamline. Remember though, don't get obsessed, having bigger thighs is not something to be sad about, you probably have other things that people notice about you first and you are probably the only person that even thinks you have fat thighs so keep it in perspective! :-)

Medical science has shown over and over again that spot reduction is impossible. You can only lose weight, and it will come off all areas.
If you are genetically meant to have larger thighs and hips, then you always will. You can lose weight, and they will get smaller, but you will get proportionally smaller all over.
Remember, less than 1% of the female population is genetically capable of looking like a movie star or model. You can't really alter what your genes are programmed for.

exercise is the best as much as you exercise you can attain the result provided by regulating the diet. you have do exercises in the morning and evening. the exercises which strengthen stomach muscles. the one efficient exercise is to lift both hands and legs up and hands about touch the knees while lying on the ground on a mat facing upwards. another is to lying on the ground on a mat facing upwards bend the body and touth the feet toe without bending hands. do the other exercises which you feel will tighten stomach muscles

I've lost 5 kilos in my first week. It's my 10th day and I have included salad with some protein (eg. egg/ lean chicken) as you suggested. After 4 years of trying, the fat is finally coming off. It truly feels like magic!

Do tummy trimmer or twister exercises for your waist muscles.

You need to do exercises that target those areas, I study Fitness and Nutrition and I workout every day, I could go into all the exercises that target those areas, but it would take awhile, so my suggestion is to get yourself a Denise Austin DVD, she is a great motivator and has DVD's for areas that you want to target.
