The best way is to have a Vet look at the cats teeth.
Even that won't give you an exact age, but they can usually give you an aproximent age with in a couple of years.
We took in a stray a few years ago and when we looked at her we thought she was a kitten because she was so small.
Our Vet looked at her teeth and told her that she wasn't a kitten at all, but anywhere from 4 to 6 years of age.

A Vet can determine the age of a cat by the wear on their teeth.
Though this is not an exact determination, they do get really close to the age.
Hope this helps.

You can check her teeth. Teeth show signs of aging and wear. If they are really really white. She is most likely between 3 weeks and a year. Some yellowing is usally between 1-3 years. Darker yellow with a few dark streaks in the teeth going downward is between 3-7. If teeth are extremely yellow with dark streak then most likely over the age of 7 or 8 years old

One of the best indicators is the "canine" teeth, the fangs on each side of the cat's upper front teeth. These continue to grow throughout the cat's life, so that an older cat will get a bit "toothy" there.

Vets determine age by looking at their teeth. The more tarter, the older the cat. Take it to the vet.
