You absolutely CANNOT stop taking Effexor...more damage if you just stop...any MD's out there that can give advice....people that know what they are talking about.

Effexor is something you need to gradually wean yourself off of, and if she misses a dose, even one day...all hell breaks loose....point break..is she going to die...if she takes the effexor at least...not worried about the Topamax....

Effexor does have a real physical side effect if a does is missed, but nothing fatal. Sounds like the best advice it to get your friends medications together and take them to rehab ASAP. Your friends recovery or treatment is largely in their hands. You are good for being so concerned, but they must stop trying to hurt themselves if they want to get better. That is just the truth.

No one here can give you (your friend this answer) I would personally suggest taking her to an emergecy room and have her visit the psychiatric doctor. If she feels the need to do substances all night then apparently the effexxor is not doing its job correctly. Not to mention exffexxor speeds your heart up. NOt such a good idea. If you were a real friend you would take your friend to the emergency room (or who ever the person really is) this is more serious then anti-depressents.

The world will not end if she misses one dose of Effexor. She'll feel horrible without it because of withdrawl, but it'd probably be better for her than taking it with the coke.

You should be worried. A combination of those drugs and cause a horrible mental break down to where she can hurt other people around her.
