Nobody can prove any gods, much less a specific god, exist; many people will tell you their god exists but no others, but will never be able to prove it, even if they think so. Some will threaten you with eternal pain or promise eternal joy to get you to believe in their god; these are all stories, created for people who were scared long before we understood the universe. Now we have no more reason for these superstitions.

Yes, if you mean logically and rationally. But not scientifically. (God will not be put into a test tube). Scientific proof requires observation and repeatable experiment. And since nobody was there to observe the universe come into being, and since the origin of the universe cannot be repeated in experiment, we are forced to rely on logic and rationality. Lets try to keep it SHORT: There are only three possible explanations for the origin of the universe. 1) It sprang into existence out of nothing and by its own volition--IMPOSSIBLE. From nothing, nothing can come. Could'nt have happened that way. 2) Its Eternal and has ALWAYS been here--This violates the 2nd law of thermodynamics which states that the universe is "running down". Losing energy. Absolute Zero or Total Entropy is the final result. Now anything running down CAN'T be Eternal because if it has an end, then it MUST have had a beginning. Its self-contradictory. 3). Some Power outside the universe must have brought it into existence. (That Power has to be Eternal or the same objections in point 2 would apply to it also).----We call that Power, God. Now, one of the 3 points HAS to be true. There are NO other alternitives. And the first 2 points, can be proved either logically or scientifically false. We are left with only the 3rd point. Now much can be elaborated on all of these, but that is the position in a nutshell. You pay your money and take your choice. But I choose the God option, its the only one thats consistently rational.-----theBerean

The best proof God exists is no other than Jesus Christ himself, the Word of God and the second Person in the Holy Trinity. God sent his only begotten son not only to redeem us but also to prove to everyone that He exists. What human can:
Silence a typhoon?
Walk on water?
Multiply a few loaves of bread and some fishes in order to feed a multitude of 5,000?
Bring back dead people to life?
Give sight to people born blind?
Change water into wine?
Rise from the dead?
As the apostle John puts it, these miracles prove Jesus' claim that he was a God. The miracles demonstrate that Jesus had the power over life and death and the forces of nature. Only a God can have these powers.
And if these miracles were just made up, Christianity would have died a natural death. But there were so many people who witnessed these miracles that's why Christianity grew by leaps and bounds in the first century. For example, the resurrection of Jesus cannot be silenced because more than 500 people saw his glorified body.
Have a great day

no one can prove God exists, yet God will prove himself to those that Believe.
The faith of Enoch was the ability to move a mountain, and it fell upon the nation wickedness that arrayed against him and his people.
so the story goes. but you have to believe the story and believe in god at the same time for it to be believable.

When i testify i saw an angel appear in my room, do you beleive what I say? Well i saw this Angelic Person appear in my room. Is my testimony proof enough for you?

When I beheld jesus appear in glory clothed in the morning Sun, is that enough of a testimony to be proof to people that hear these words? probably not, but it was a very powerful Experience that No one can take away from me. i have my proof can you accept it?

Strictly speaking, it's impossible to prove either its existence or non-existence. Anyway, it would make the whole idea of faith redundant.

Of course they can't. Some people can make VERY long nonsensical arguments, but that is not proof, that is wishful thinking. You can believe anything you like, but if you want to be able to prove it, stick with science.

No one can prove it.

Just as no one can or should defend God.

If God wants to be proved or defended, then God can do so. If not then God's gift of free will apply.
