Cats like children are often afraid of the unfamiliar. Fill your bathtub with a little water and a few goldfish. Cats love this and will spend hours playing with the fish. Each time you do this fill the tub up a little more until you reach the desired level for bathing your cat. When I run the bath water my cat sits on the edge of the tub, watches the fish for a few minutes, then jumps in. People who do not bathe their cats are used to the smell, and don't even realize how bad the cat and house stinks. I have been bathing my cat for years and he is a very happy & healthy cat. There are many good books out there on training your cat, the important thing is to start early. A cat can be trained just like a dog, assuming you have the time and patience to do it.

is there a reason that you are bathing your cat? cat's generally don't need baths they clean themselves. unless your cat is very old and can't groom herself or is sick and can't, or some how has gotten into something she shouldn't and needs it washed off those would be the only real reason's to bathe a cat.

they have waterless baths you can spray on your cat and rub in, Nature's Miracle makes a good product, it even reduces dander.

cats do not need to be bathed like dogs do, they clean themselves. Unless your cat has gotten into something sticky or nasty that she cannot take care of herself, you have no reason to bathe her. It will be less stressful on you and your cat.
