I work with this guy and every day when he comes into work he seems to smell and it gets worse as the day goes on! He also seems to have no respect for the workplace, throwing his rubbish all over the factory floor. I'm sick of it and i want it to end, because it's usually me who has to clean it up!

That's a tough one! I stopped seeing a guy whose company I really enjoyed (be was hot!) because he started having body odours. The first time it happened I thought "Oh well, it can happen to everyone" but it happened the next time as well. I am afraid that it will happen the 3rd time as well, so I never agreed to meet him again. I guess if you are intimate with him, if you go over his place or he comes over your place tell him you would like to take a shower together, or that it would really turn you on to watch him shower. I don't know in what kind of relationship you are. If you dislike hair, what is he to do? He can trim certain areas (like the pubic area - feel free to ask him to trim it, they don't get offended by it) but what is he to do with the rest of the hair? Don't tell him anything if you think you can't make it work for him. I have met women married to people who stink, it's a fact. I guess there is someone for everyone

yopu treat him the way he does throgh all your rubbish near his home. tell his neighbour to throgh all the wrappers of chocolate at him. give him a suitable nickname which he desorves. tell him that cleanliness is next to god liness. tyou don't clean up the mess appeartiate him for what he is doing until and unless he realizez what he has done is wrong. and ultimatly after say 1 or 2 or may say 1 week he will look at the mess and then ultimately he will fell like cleanling
and u stop doing your work for him. forget about cleaning his office avoid his smeel just control. you be best shape.
he is in the impression that u will clean up his mess everyday so that he can do it again and again.
so try to avoid it just for a week
i think it will work

yes it is really difficult situation
u need to talk to him frankly but politely !!!
say for example u must had been very busy yesterday so u could not find time to do a bath and u smells bad and in fact I think u are that kind of people who sweats heavily cos this is not the first time I smelt ur bad odour and I am telling u cos I do care .
if after all this he does not do anything be straight.
or talk to ur director

Rule #1:never clean up after sb in the workplace. It ain't even your house, dude!

Rule #2:Never approach unprepared.I would suggest that you get an AXE bottle and spray him from top to feet!If it works so well as in adverts,it'll do miracles!!!xi!

Now,seriously, threre isn't a way to fix this problem.Cleanliness is something personal-it is up to our human decency to realise we have to take care of it.Imagine I have to sit front desk at school and our Science teacher smells 10 times orse than a trash can....and i can't move away.you can go a bit further,I s'ppose....
Anyway bear it.What else is there to do?I would be embarassed to say:"Hey,you know what?Go get washed because we can't stand you",or even drop a hint. It's gross dude!

G'luck!

If its another man, pull him to the side and let him know that he smells and people are talking about it. Approach it like you're trying to help the guy out before someone else embarrasses him and give him some pointers about what you use in the way of deodorants.

I dealt with a guy just like this recently, I would just leave the room whenever he entered it and say things "under my breath" like whoo! that's nasty! or Gross! Sometimes I would even ask him if he smelled something funny! I'm sure that he knew I was talking about his smelly butt!

I tried to talk with my supervisor about it but they just kept defending him and say that maybe he can't help it. Eventually he quit because I'm sure he knew that everyone was always talking about him behind his back.

There are people who cannot control their body odor, but if he is dirty, that's gross. As for his housekeeping habits, that should be discussed with a supervisor. You shouldn't have to clean up after anyone.

You don't. Stay away from him as much as you can. With regards him messing up your place of work, report him to your immediate superior for disciplinary action.
