By my rough estimate, the continents would be drifting at about 2,000 feet per year. What's up with that?

A greater question would be what broke the continental plates? The great flood.
By the way the bible states man was created in 6 day that was 6000 years ago.
The bible states that the earth is of great age.
You might want to actually read the book before you attack it as it shows your lack of education and wisdom.

God didn't know about continental drift or plate tectonics when he wrote the Bible, scientists had to discover it for him, God now knows about it at last thanks to the scientists ... but he can be a slow learner.
How do you explain the oldest rocks on Earth being 44,000,000,000yrs old,
that's forty-four thousand million yrs old

They don't try to explain it. According to them, their gods just kind of threw mud at the planet, and wherever it landed was the land.

You are using logic and reason. We do not understand these concepts. We believe only in our Lord our God who understands all. We trust His judgment, not ours or yours. We do not have to know or prove anything. We only have to have faith in Him and all will be good and righteous. Thinking is wrong and will not be tolerated by the almighty. Repent thinker!
