I mean...wouldn't Satan pretend to be God? He would tell people to do evil things right...? However, for the majority of you out there, i.e. Christians, what if someone of a different religion has a personal experience with their God, which fills them with a feeling of wellbeing and love for all man, which occurs often, is that Satan corrupting them?

No ashton that is God.

In ancient Jewish tradition Satan is simply an angel doing the work that God assigned to Satan to do.

The word Satan means challenger. With the idea of Satan challenging us, or tempting if you will. This description sees Satan as the angel who is the embodiment of man's challenges. This idea of Satan works closely with God as an integral part of Gods plan for us. His job is to make choosing good over evil enough of a challenge so that it becomes clear to us that there can be only one meaningful or logical choice.

Contrast this to Christianity, which sees Satan as God's opponent. In Jewish thought, the idea that there exists anything capable of setting itself up as God's opponent would be considered polytheistic or setting up the devil to be an equally powerful polarity to god or a demigod.

Oddly, proof for The Christian satan/devil mythology is supposedly found in the ancient Jewish texts that were borrowed to create the bible. One can’t help but wonder how Christians came up with such a fantastically different interpretation of Gods assistant Satan in their theology.

Other hints about Satan’s role in human relations can be seen if you look at the name Lucifer. It’s meaning in the original tongue translates as Light bearer or light bringer. Essentially the bringer of enlightenment. The temptations of the Satan idea bring all of us eventually into Gods light. Hardly the Evil entity of Christian mythology.

Love and blessings

Ashton Christians have a personal relationship with God and know their Fathers voice it is the reason we are not adding the Qu'ran to the word of the true God. Yes those that hear from a false God are under the influence of Satan and the proof of this is one religion today that is in agreement with the Satan of the Bible.Understand Satan does not come ot people showing himself to be evil he is the angel of light and he mixes truth with lies...His first lie was also mixed with truth...Satan told Eve that if she ate of the tree of knowledge of good and evil she would not surely die this was the opposite of what God had told them. the fact is that sin causes death and a separation form a righteous God...God does not join himself to sin but has provided the atonement and remains righteous and merciful as he himself paid that penalty of death for us.

i favor to commence with assistance from conserving that listening to voices isn't any mild count number. you ought to work out someone about what's occurring interior of you. Secondly i favor to allow you to already know that both between the voices are in all likelihood devil. often times God speaks to someone by the Holy Spirit. it isn't something you could hear on your head. you sense it on your spirit. If God does talk to you there should be no confusion. because those voices are causing you confusion; i ought to say that they have got no longer something to do with God. If the almighty were talking to you, have self belief Me, you ought to understand it. you're being tricked. devil needs you to imagine that between the voices is God via the undeniable fact that is what he continuously does. he's an expert at imitating God. i do not understand what the voices are telling you to do yet you ought to refer to a professional. do not take the orders of the voices. rather in the adventure that they are telling you to do undesirable issues. no count number what reasoning the voices provide you with, no count number how a lot sense it type of feels to make do not pay interest. Your question change into nerve-racking. do not merely ask human beings on-line. refer to some different person. If there is no human being on your existence that you could bypass to, open up the yellow pages and hit upon a accepted practitioner or someone to work out. hit upon a church to bypass to. do not enable those voices relax interior of you. do not get tender with them. they don't belong there. Neither of them is God. they don't look to be out for the coolest of you or absolutely everyone. do no longer pay interest to them. do no longer enable them stay.

Satan can duplicate much of what G-d does, but he cannot duplicate love or peace. And, the Spirit of G-d inside a Believer would inform them if they were in G-d or satan's presence.

*raises an eyebrow at whoever gave question that a star*.... ummm Satan who is the epitome of hate & strife, and all things evil, would never give a person a feeling of well being, he would only torture your mind & body, he could never give you a feeling of love for all mankind, he doesn't know love. So how could he fill you with love?...and moreso WHY would he fill you with love for all men (and women)?...or give you a feeling of well being?

Based on logic. You will see from what he says and does. If the results are bad, he cannot be God. If the results are good, he can be God but even if he is Satan, as long as the results are good, no problems.

Satan and God are a double act, you don't get one without the other, think about it...without Satan why would anyone need God?
In fact both are fictional but if you are having personal encounters with fictional beings you may have a real problem of your own that needs medical attention.

in the book of abraham, (or is it the book of Moses), in the Pearl of Great Price, one of those two patriarchs testifies that satan came unto him and said he was the son of God. Then jesus came and appeared in glory and it was known that the first was NOT the saviour.

here try this quote:7 It is an imperative duty that we owe to God, to angels, with whom we shall be brought to stand, and also to ourselves, to our wives and achildren, who have been made to bow down with grief, sorrow, and care, under the most damning hand of murder, tyranny, and oppression, supported and urged on and upheld by the influence of that spirit which hath so strongly riveted the creeds of the fathers, who have inherited lies, upon the hearts of the children, and filled the world with confusion, and has been growing stronger and stronger, and is now the very mainspring of all corruption, and the whole dearth groans under the weight of its iniquity.

When i testify to everyone to everyone that i truly saw an Angel appear in my bedroom, He appeared with glorious light that filled the entire mind seemingly both inside and out. Even though i would tell people I saw an angel of light. many people would say it was SATAN. So years later I finally came to the conclusion that it didnt matter if it was satan. because Indeed the existence of satan proves There is a GOD. Let it be known i believe i had prayed to be baptized in the spirit of God when i first became born again.
Later on in life I realized that the book of revelation describes the coming and going of angels from the throne of god as thunders and lightnings. The description of satan falling from heaven was described as him being lightning, though someone said this is when satan first fell, i dont believe it. I believe this is satan also being described as an angel of light. or how the the term satan can appear. but Paul warned us more specifically to be warned of MEN who transform themselves into Apostles. because it is an easy thing to do. But Jesus gave us another warning, that people of "our" own "households" are a greater enemy. Therefore we must not be deceived.
The fact that WE entertain Angels unaware, prove that angels minsiter and when Paul had escaped from prison an angel appeared in the glory of light. As then again when Paul knocked on the door to house of the saints, the woman who answered declared that she had seen Pauls Angel.

nevertheless i have oftentimes declared that MOST christians will not KNOW the difference between satan and the Holy Ghost.
because MOST people of the world Do NOT know God.

So the only way to answer your question, is to seek God and knock and pray and ask. Eventually those who are sincere and full of faith and those who prove their faith to Gods standards of righteousness, they WILL SEE GOD. Only the man of sin will not see God. and remember it is written that Jesus does not appear as the traveler on the road.

I can tell the difference. satan comes to kill, steal and destroy. I have had many encounters with the evil one and he cam to take my life, in other words try to kill me, and Jesus did steop in supernaturaly, other wise I would not even be here right now. the evil one was looking at me with the wost king of hatred I have ever felt, and the evil presence was consuming me. The enemy can attack you while you are sleeping as I have been harrased many times. Also the dream or vision has to line up with the bible. All mine have. Any spirit that does not confess Jesus is Lord is from the devil, and any spirit that admits that Jesus is Lord is from God. The bible says to test the spirits. If you feel scared to death while having a supernatural being appear to you and you feel evil, as you would sence it, it probally is a fallen angel and you rebuke them in the name of Jesus. You can discern them quite easily, and you know. If you are in the presence of a being that is calm and loving and you feel peace that is more than likely from God.

God would not tell anybody anything that goes against His written word---the Bible. Satan can appear as an 'angel of light' but if it goes against the Bible, it's not God.
