Why is it that the community does not attacks and condemn them and ostracise the scum out of the area as dirt instead of defending them as tough guys with respect?

Then having non alcohol parties with kissing and gays/lesbians invited with brother helping sisters pull?

And those protests storming embassies where kids are on death row or girls awaiting stoning /hanging/beheading for having a boyfriend or worse a girlfreind, or being a Playboy model etc.

Sir, you are trying to solve so many divergent speculations at one time.Extremism is not with true religious vaues, it has transpired due to reasons other than religious.Extremists or to be specific the suicide bombers are not approved of by all muslims;so all the muslims may not be questioned about their conduct and neither the solution lies with so-called moderate muslims.If the socalled West despite the abundance of resources cannot be motivated for a unified action and approach, how can the relatively divided muslim world be expected to unify its actions.It is most wanted thing that the reaction of West be moderated through single approach.It is very disappionting to note that while protesting against the reaction of some muslims over sacreligios cartoons, the Yahoo questioers start attacking the Islamic beliefs,hurl insulting remarks over the holy Prophet of Islam.Personally I consider it cleansing of gutter mentalities process and I pity the West when I found their Presidents are jittery of the few thousands muslim girls wearing socalled hijab; they cosider to be agreat danger and threat to their culture!There are hundered thousands of other muslim women in the West who do not wear hijab;rather they use the westren dress.What an argument can justify this paradox.If all the muslims have run amuck, then all the west has gone crazy!Who can get both the parties out of this unsubscribed frenzy?

I hear what you are saying. Everything is in such a mess, however it is up to us the everyday joe bloggs to try and make communities a better place to live. I agree crying racisim is not the way forward, though it must be difficult when you are confronted with animosity and anger every day of your life.

As far as Islam radical extremists are concerned, what I cannot understand is why if they hate living in the UK (for example) so much why do they not return or go and live in an Islamic country so they can follow their own religion as they wish without trying to impose it's teachings on none islamic followers.

I guess I'm just trying to be like the Prophet, he didn't retaliate when the enemies of Islam mock and insulted him. Patience is a virtue. (Physical action is another thing) The Islam way is to be a good example of Islam, our actions carry our religion.

So that's why we shouldn't retaliate, let's be the better side, the side that forgives and is patiences, instead of cultivating this hatred and never ending war.

Read the few suras given below from the english translation.
8:12- “I will instill terror into the hearts of the ..........
47:4- “Therefore, when ye meet the Unbelievers, strike off their .......
9:123: “Oh ye who believe! M***** those of the disbelievers and let them find .......
Quite a lot more if you read it your self.

The moderate Muslims HAVE to start making themselves heard, for their own sake! Unfortunately, the majority of them just bleat on about being picked on and victimised.
