God loves you no matter how bad you do. For His great love, He gave His only begotten Son (John 3:16). You could be the worst person in the world and He still loves you. What matters is you ask forgiveness and be really sorry for it. This is best illustrated with the story of the prodigal son. God loves you in many visible ways. He gives you a home, family, friends. He gave you air to breathe, and sunshine for warmth. There are many things God does for us to show His love. We should take time to appreciate these things.

How can you be sure He does not love you? If we live a miserable life, is it God that makes it miserable? The biggest city in my country is innundated by flood, and God did not send the flood, but human beings cut too much trees in the forests and cover too much land with cement and concrete.

What is amazing to me is that why do we (mankind ) always look to the Dark side of the Force? Luke look to the lighter side of life. Why would God who is LOVE not love us? God is all them good feelings that help us---Light,Love,Peace,Tranquility,Joy,Happiness,etc.,etc. How do you know you feel any of these---Galatians 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. These are all GOD in your life, if you love anyone then you know what I am speaking of and if you do not love anyone it is clear why you would doubt God loves you.

God loved the world so much that He sent His Son to save us from eternal death,to give up your own beloved Son for others surely shows great love indeed.

Nice question.
I know He loves me because He is good to me and He teaches me.
Mostly though, I know He loves me because even though I sometimes do things that do not make Him happy, He is still gracious and kind and merciful to me.
I love Him because He first loved me.
