i think i answered this question yesterday but here goes:
it really depends on what you are getting and where. and also your activity level.
in december i got a large tattoo on my foot which caused me to have to wear flip flops for two weeks. IN DECEMBER! but i went into this tattoo knowing that i would have to wear flip flops in winter. i could have waited but i wanted it for christmas.
BUT if you are active outdoors and swim in the summer you should not get one in the summer time because you are supposed to refrain from soaking or swimming in water until your tattoo is completely healed..

The best time is autumn of winter because the worst thing for a new tattoo is sun exposure, especially the first 6 months, even a bit of sun can really fade it. But when it does come to summer buy a good sunblock and apply it to your tattoo before you're in the sun! Good luck

Fall or winter. Because The sun really can damage a new tattoo or even a old but isnt at all good for a fresh tattoo. Plus when you first get a tattoo you arent suppose to swim in pools so in the winter you arent tempted too.

Although you can get a tattoo any time of the year, your skin gets a lot more abuse during the summer with swimming, tanning and just being exposed to the elements more. Fall and winter are really the best seasons to get a tattoo.

for me, winter was bad because i get really dry skin on my legs and that's where i got my most recent tattoo and so it's been really itchy and difficult dealing with the dry skin while healing a tattoo. Best time would probably be spring or fall.

There is no best time of the year to get tattooed, just get it whenever you would like.

depending on your climate, it is most likely the best in the fall/winter. this being the lest sunny of the months. therefore, your skin is less likely to dry out and your colour will be brighter.

I like to get mine in the winter.
By getting it during that time of the year, it gives it time to heal before summer/showoff time.
