i've been wearing contacts for 2 years now, i've been using the monthlys..but recently as my eyes hav been alittle dried out my doctor told me to change to dailies
but ever since i've been using them..i find it VERY hard to take them out...it is very painful and when i pinch the contacts they stick to my eye and won't COME OUT!! my old contacts use to just come out in seconds...
is it because my eyes are too dry? are they daily disposable contacts too thin? is there any methods..i really like using them because they are very comfy, but taking them out is such a pain..is there a reason for this? also mayb they are alittle smaller than my old ones, the diameter is 13.8, and my old ones were 14.sumthing
any help appreciated, thanks..

I just started using daily disposables. It could be your eyes are drying out - it's much easier to dry daily ones out than other types, because they're so thin. You have to pull your eye right open - hold it open by holding your top lashes with your other hand, then carefully move the lense off your iris - that's probably why it hurts - the iris doesn't like to be touched, so pinching lenses directly off them stings, until you get used to it. The whites of your eyes don't tend to be as sensitive. Once you've moved it off your iris, you should be able to pinch it off. Cut any long nails off - I gave myself a really bloodshot by trying to take my lenses out with long nails. Owch.

If they are dried out and they feel sticky, blink lots. My optician told me to go and make myself a warm drink and while I drink it, constantly blink to try and increase the amount of moisture in your eye. I guess the warm drink gives you enough time to do it...If it becomes a real issue, go to your opticians or eye doctor - he or she will know whether the lenses are just not right for your eyes.

I've worn contacts for about 10 years now and the BEST way to take out any contacts (whether they're monthlies or dailies) is to take your first finger and slide the contact to the inside corner of your eye (towards your nose) and give it a little push with your finger once you get it to the corner and it will usually pop out. Be ready with your first finger and thumb to get it when it comes out. It sounds complicated, but it's pretty simple, and a hell of a lot easier than pinching the contact with 2 fingers.

Yep, still too dry. This happens to me sometimes. Put in eye drops, blink a few times, then take them out.

This happens to me too sometimes, so I tend to use slightly wet fingers to take them out. Just touch the lenses and start to pull down then you should be able to pinch it and take it out.
