Yes for some it is disagreeable and will cause skin irritation, allergy leading to skin disease.

Only if you are allergic to them. They are supposedly harmful to the enviroment in large quantities but they break down fast (and were even used to clean up oil spills)

If used as directed, they pose no threat to your health. If you get the product on your skin and do not wash it off promptly, you may have some skin irritation, but will not suffer any longterm effects.

Some people have had rashes due to allergic reactions to some dishwashing liquids. I wouldn't say they would give you cancer however.
