That is a very important issue and needs immediate attention. You should plan slide shows, rallies and other like activities where you can educate people and ask them to stop polluting and wasting but to start reusing things. Ask people to plant atleast one tree for birthday or anniversary and take care so it doesnt die. You know in Indian culture One tree has been given more importance than 1000 children. So cutting one tree is like killing 1000 children.
