I'm getting ready to deploy and the family care plan I came up with has back fired and leaves me as the only person who can care for my child Any suggestions? If I can't find anyone to care for my child then what?

you will be discharged from the military. The Command is under zero obligation to leave you behind in Rear Det or other wise send you TAD/TDY for the duration.

If no one in your family can take care of your child, a hardship discharge may be your only viable option. Talk through with your chain of command, contact all relatives that you deem trustworthy, do what you can.

Well the current policy is to chapter you out of the military. The only viable option is to get another care plan. Talk to your Chain of command.
