This can be recited 3 times a day. that is morning , afternoon and in the evening. If not possible twice both morning and evening, if not at least ionce in the morning. T his should be recited after taking bath and wearing fresh clothes.
The book you get or purchase in the market will give you the procedure.
Before commencing and after concluding the recitation one should read a prayer on RAMA which will please Hanuman immensely.
One can offer soaked moongdal, vada made up of such Dal, sherbet made up of joggery, banana, betel leaves to the god and be distributed among the family members and friends as prashad. One should remember Hanuman adores and worships Rama. Therefore devotees who want his blessings must worship Rama to please him.

Hanuman Chalisa, has to be chanted every night, before going to bed, preferably in a lotus sitting posture.

HANUMAN is a great GOD. You can recite Hanuman Chalisa whenever You need him.
