Like tell you how many MB you have dowloaded a day

Go to www.download.com and search for DU Meter. Its a 30 day trail software which would give you Real time Upload and Download.

It will also have Daily, weekly and monthly bandwidth utilization reports.

You could try Yahoo Widget's Netstat. It shows you the total amount uploaded/downloaded and your speed.
