I started phys. ther. last week, and it seems to be worse. Is it just because of the stretching? Is it normal? I'm getting stir crazy, and I want to get back to work, but it is sore as hell when I try to lift anything.. Moving it around is fine, but I can't put any strain on it yet. The phys. ther. said that I should be fine in 2 weeks, but I'm not so sure..

Trust me on this one........................................i'm in PT also and will be for another month or longer..........

Have your physical therapist read the section on shoulders in The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook. They are trained with a different purpose.
It deals with pain and referred pain as they relate to muscles - is readable and teaches anyone who is interested how to help themselves.
