How much it might cost to hire a moving company to move from Oregon to Florida?

I am thinking of moving from Oregon to Florida and have no idea how much hiring a moving company to move would cost. I have a three bedroom houseful of furniture. I would want them to drive the truck also. I would pack small stuff but need them to pack big stuff like beds, etc. If any one would have even a ballpark figure, I would appreciate it. Thank you.

you may need to get a representative to come to your house to estimate the damage -
........................be sitting down when they give you the figure.

Allied - Greyhound - Mayflower - get all the big guys - they will send a rep by

you will save a ton by packing as much as you can - and labeling
it as it goes in the box = B1 bedroom One
DR = dining room K=kitchen.........etc

We moved from Michigan to Florida a few years back and it cost us $5000. We went with Atlas and they did not break anything. All items accounted for but be sure to talk to the driver before you hire them-I think they may be independents.
