hello,

sweating is a common phenomenon. It is body's mechanism of cooling itself.some people sweat more than others. The reasons are unknown.might be because of
1.body nature 2.obesity 3.anxiety 4.hot climate.Different people react to these conditions in different ways.so sweating is a general phenomenon and not a disease.First ur friend must understand this.
The treatment options include-
1.Antiperspirants:These contains chemicals like aluminium chloride which block the sweat glands and control sweating.
They have some side effects as they may accumulate in the body.
2.Ets surgery:It is the surgical procedure of cutting the sympathetic nerves innervating the sweat glands. This is a very risky operation and has number of side effects. The surgeons conceal this fact and perform it.There is lot of information available on the net about this procedure. The reason i write this is cos my friend had undergone this operation and suffering the consequences.Even if ur friend knows about this operation or comes to know in future forbid her from it.
3.oral medication:There are some drugs taken orally called beta blockers.Though the reduce sweating, they have side effects.
4.Meditation:This is the best way to control sweating if not cure it completely. It reduces anxiety and calms u down and surely the sweating will come down
For the smell, hygiene is important .washing the hands and feet twice a day.sweating cannot be cured, but can be reduced and managed.I say all this because it is a small problem and dont use complex treatments.while writing and doing other activities she can use a tissue or a napkin.
And if your friend is disturbed by this, ask her to take it easy.bye.If u still need more information contact me at vallabhaneni_rajesh2000@yahoo.com

Talcum powder and foot spray. It wouldn't do any harm to see a doctor as well.
