I'm making Valentine's Day dinner for my boyfriend and he asked for ribs. I have a great recipe in mind, but I'm on a tight budget. What cut or type of beef should I ask for/look for at the supermarket when I'm getting his ribs? (Just one serving; I'm vegetarian.)

Thanks!

Ribs are pretty much a cut itself. You can find the pork country style ribs that are sliced the other way. They are usually a little cheaper. I would watch for sales between now and then and just put them in the freezer. Thaw them out in the fridge a day or so before you use them. They won't have time to get freezer burnt between now and then.
