i want know that is laminating important documents an offence or will the application be rejeced.. i while applying for a fresh passport .

lamination of certificates should not be an offence... passport office should accept it...

Lamination of any kind of testimonial is not an offence. But, if stops the officials, from checking its originality, it may rejected. If the papers are fully closed on all sides, as in lamination, it is difficult check its authenticity.

NO not at all . This will help you to keep your documents intact and help you to preserve it better. Any ways they do not ask your original copies but you need the copies which are attested by some gazetted officer. Hope you get yopur passport fast. Bets of luck
