Healthy hair = soft and manageable. Lots of ways, try them all to see what works for you! (Just dont do all the hair masks at the same time!)

-After shampoo and conditioning, rinse with apple cider vingear.
-Always always deep condition your hair at least once a week, if your really ambitious, twice a week.
-Since your hair is dry, try not to wash more than twice a week.
-Before getting in the shower to wash your hair, brush your hair for awhile. Sounds very Marcia Brady, but redistributing your natural oils like this really helps make it healthy. Also, will make it less tangled and easier to handle in the shower! Make sure not to brush your hair "dry", put some oil or leave in conditioner on it first.
-Sounds gross but a hair mask made out of eggs makes hair very very shiny.
-Also gross sounding, but a mask of mayonaise works wonders.
-So does washing hair with beer!
-Coconut oil, Almond oil, Vitamin E oil all make WONDERFUL deep conditioners. Almost any oil works, but olive oil leaves many peoples hair drier.
-Avocado is also amazing.
-Although getting a blowout makes hair look and feel soft it is only a temporary fix as heat styling makes hair duller and damaged, so save it for only special occasions if possible, and never ever use heat on wet hair without a protective spray!
-Get a deep conditioning treatment done at the salon once a month or every 2 months if possible.
-What you put into your body is also important for your hair. Make sure your eating a healthy and balanced diet and getting enough good fats, such as from avocado. Also, eat a lot of salmon, its amazing for hair, and maybe take some fish oil capsules as a dietary supplement.
-If all these things fail, then you can always use products to fake the look. Biosilk is expensive but works wonders.

Good luck!

Don't put a bunch of stuff in your hair. Try using Color Treated Shampoo for Biolage (even if your hair isn't color treated. it has extra things to protect and moisturize your hair) and All Soft conditioner by Redken. It's great. It'll make your hair strong and very soft. If you want your hair curly try adding a curl booster after you wash your hair. If you want to straighten your hair blow dry it. You don't have to blow dry it straight. After you've gotten the moisture out use a straightening iron with ceramic plates (ceramic tools are better for hair). After that style and hairspray it how you like and wait a little bit before you go outside to let your hair set. Humidity can ruin all that hard work. Good luck! :)

Biolage makes a fantastic shampoo and conditioner for dry hair. Get the SUPER HYDRATING. You can order it online. It will make a big difference.

And when you wash your hair, just scrub the scalp. Squeeze a little shampoo down on the hair, but don't maipulate it. Not necessary.

a more expensive shampoo and conditioner that makes hair soft and moisturized is Redken All Soft shampoo and conditioner, if your looking for a cheaper brand I like suave professionals bio-basics shampoo and conditioner. also when you get out of the shower spray some kids detangler all over then comb it, it helps the hair to be more managable. (i like suave kids detangler or the johnsons kids one)

Use treatment after washing your hair. Try not to wash it more then twice a week. Consistant washing drys your hair. Find a good shampoo and conditioner that suits your hair.

make a mayonnaise from good quality olive oil and egg yolk.
(mix very slowly the oil into the yolk, beat with a whisk all the time, )
put some drops essential oil (rose, orange, ylang-ylang) in the mix and massage it into your hair.
wrap your hair in some cling film and put a towel over it.
after 2 hours or over night, wash twice, rinse with 2 Tbs cider-vinegar mixed with some warm water and dry.
dont use very hot water and put the hair dryer on low heat at all times,
your hair should be nice n' shiny.

Don't wash everyday...you can wet it and condition it, just don't wash it. Also, try getting a deep conditioner and sleep with it on, under a cap. Do this a few days a week..

Good Luck

Hot oil treatments. Use a conditioner for color treated hair. They have leave in conditioner's that are not oily and wash out easy.
