Ive been sleeping with my ex for 5 years.....we've agreed many times to stop sleeping together, we've stopped talking, I erased his phone number, I even moved to a different state for a while.....but we still always end up sleeping together again no matter how set on stopping we are?

No neither of us are currently in a relationship, but we've both had other relationships and always end it and go back to each other for comfort. I guess you could say its still a relationship if your definition of relationship is really open. I would be with him if I could, but we've been "friends" for so long now I'm afraid it would be weird.

Well - if the question is "Am I addicted to my ex?" then your answer is no.

People like to claim "addiction" because it makes them not responsible.

You like sleeping with him.
And you will continue to do it until it's not fun anymore.
That's ok....

Maybe you are a little concerned because you feel like you should be sleeping with someone who will be there for the long haul... if that's the case then you won't find him in your ex-hubbies bed - I'll tell ya that much.

Same boat as you... for a while. I think it deals with the 'comfortable' aspect of it... in my case.. the sex wasn't even that good, but still had that increased comfort zone after being together for over 5 years.

the question you should ask yourself is, why is he your ex? Do you want to be with him or not, and i just dont mean sexually. why did u guys break up in the first place? if u have not gotten over each other, then be together. if you have and it is purely sexual you are both hurting yourselves, cuz you will be unable to give all of yourself to future relationships. am assuming that you are in a rlsph at the moment with someone else, its not fair to both of you and your partners. grow up!
