If you're talking about being Hafiz Quran, I've known a few Shia who are hafiz of the Qur'an.

*shrug*

I don't know about where you live, though.

I don' think there is no hafiz in Shiite, both Shia and Sunnis are muslims and i know that here are many hafiz in both groups in my country........ And Also Iran is a muslim country and i don't think there would be no Hafiz there in their whole country !

does not matter shia or Sunni ---not all ppl and all countries use this method ---there is ppl read books to understand specific thing or TV shows ----not every body will run to the hafiz to ask---that was used more back in the days---before TV and videos
