Adam was created first, then Eve was created from the rib of Adam.

After they were placed on earth, they procreated.
Their offspring were born in pigeon pairs i.e. they had twins who were one male child and one female child.

The female offspring from the first set of twins married the male offspring from the second set of twins.
The male from the first set of twins married the female from the second set of twins.

That was how their family grew.

BTW they did NOT have only two sons.
They lived till quite an old age, so they did have many children.

Genesis 4:17 says, "Cain lay with his wife, and she became pregnant and gave birth to Enoch." Who was his wife? It is implied in the biblical text that Cain married one of his sisters. Several facts lead us to this conclusion.
First, it is clear that Adam and Eve had a number of children. Genesis 5:4 says, "After Seth was born, Adam lived 800 years and had other sons and daughters." Since Adam and Eve were the first man and woman, and since God had commanded them (and their descendants) to be fruitful and multiply (Genesis 1:28), it seems reasonable to conclude that Cain married one of his many sisters. It is also possible that he married a niece or even a grandniece.
One must keep in mind that in the early years of the human race there were no genetic defects that had yet developed as a result of the fall of man. By the time of Abraham, God had not yet declared this kind of marriage to be contrary to His will (see Genesis 20:12). Laws governing incest apparently did not become enacted until the time of Moses (Lev 18:7-17; 20:11,12,14,17,20,21). Hence, there was no prohibition regarding marrying a sister (or niece or grandniece) in the days of Cain.

Obviously, the bible approved incest & homosexuality, if you are always thinking using bible's point of view.

In more scientific point of view, bible & other holy manuscripts contents are viewed as symbols & simplifications. Example: who's the REAL creator of earth Jehovah or Izanagi & Izanami or Brahma? Christians will directly answer Jehovah. It's obviously etnocentric & self-centric. If you want the real answer of your question, think out side your belief and see the reality.

Historically, the Mesopotamia already exist thousands of year preceding the writing of Genesis book. so, human's already exists at the time. Both male & female. The Genesis is only metaphorically explains the creation of earth & human. Don't take it literally.

In the bible, there's no texts saying that Earth is spherical. Do you believe if the church says the world is flat while the earth obviously spherical?

Adam lived 930 years and had many sons and daughters...I am sure in a thousand years with each son and daughter living for the same time periods many cities would have been created in his lifetime and the mothers are from these generations of Adam.

Christianity is a man's religion. Daughter's aren't mentioned unless they serve some special purpose i.e. mary or sarah. Look at the blood line in Genesis (I think) or Numbers. It only talks about how many sons were born. Women were not even seen as human back then, and there was debate over whether or not women even had souls.

Either Eve or their daughters. Hey, Evolution says we share a "common ancestor", what's the difference?

Here's the million dollar question: would you rather come about as a result of incest, or from an ape? Hehe...

It is a story. It isn't real. That is like asking why a tortoise and a hare would bother to have a race. It never happened. Put the book down, and walk away.

Well the only logical thing. Either there were sisters left out of the bible or they got with thier mother to continue the species. On technicality, following the christian beliefs, we are all incested. Hope that helps.
