It's not as simple as cross referencing your height to your weight. However, I would say you might be as much as 30 pounds under weight. You could be working out more than you should and/or not eating enough calories to replace what you're burning. Really, you should consult with your doctor about this.
My ex wife is 5'7" and the whole time we were dating/married she weighed around 140 pounds. She has a petite frame and was always thin, but not skin and bones. Last time I saw her she had put on some weight (probably 10-15 pounds) and she honestly looked much healthier than I could ever remember her looking in the years I had known her. She also looked much more attractive than she ever had (but I would actually admit that to her).
I did look at a page about BMI ranges and you might be just under the very low end of normal or ideal.

interior the checklist of replies to your question, somebody published a hyperlink to a internet site (I overlook what it is called) that exhibits your suited weight in correspondence to your top/weight/age. I went onto this internet site to envision out my very own suited weight, yet then remembered approximately your question, so I regarded up your chum's "suited" weight. It grew to become into 117. So somewhat, your chum would be unable to be considered fat as she is a sprint under the specified weight. yet, splendor is only interior the attention of the beholder (as cheesy because it sounds, i be attentive to...) , and as she is the beholder subsequently, then she needs to contemplate whether she somewhat thinks she is fat or not. For genuine. It relies upon on what you spot as fat. there is the whiny 'i'm FAAAAT" fat, the place you poke and prod on the little bits of better luggage you have, and there is the BMI weight problems fat. the place you're definitely fat. So tell her that she won't be fat, that she is doing super and he or she does not might desire to lose to any extent further weight. asserting that, i be attentive to that i definitely could opt to lose extra, anybody does. So attempt workout consultation or weight-reduction plan jointly, it works wonders to your motivation ^___^

The BMI is the formula for healthy weight vs height, but it works in metric units.
5'9" = 1.75 metres tall
127 lbs = 57.5 kg
BMI = 57.5/ (1.75 * 1.75) = 18.7
The OFFICIAL healthy weight range is 18 to 25.
So congrats! You are slim and lean, and you could safely add several pounds (ESPECIALLY if you get any taller), but you are not "too skinny".
