How many Atheist have you actually convinced that God exists?

I'm pretty sure the answer is Zero.

So won't you guys stop preaching, stop trying to convince them something that they will never believe in? What you're doing is only make them more annoying then they start attacking you on your God and you get offended and its a never ending fight.

To those who believe in God:

What if I told you that your God is false? Well that's exactly how Atheists feel, they don't believe in God and when you tell them God exists they'll only get annoyed! Stop picking fights with them please, you're only gonna give the impression that all of us who do believe in God are jackasses.

To those who doesn't believe in God:

On behalf of the whole people who believes in God and annoyed you, I'm sorry. Most of us are arragont, ignorant and thinks the world only revolves around them, they don't know this world is full of all kinds of people of many different beliefs. But try not to be harsh on those who do believe in God, it-OUT OF LETTERS!

continued- it's a personal conviction, a personal belief, just like how you guys don't believe God exists. It's simply a different opinion.

Don't bother, lying will only get you to Hell.

Well, what would you have us do? Disobey the Lord? He told us to "go out and preach the gospel". Its a command, not a suggestion. Now, I admit some christians do it very badly and seem to lack in tact. I never try to "convince" someone that they are "wrong" per se. I could'nt do that anyway. Its the Lord who changes hearts and minds. After all Jesus DID say that unless one believed in HIM alone, they are NOT going to the "Father" (Heaven), no matter WHAT their religion or how many "good" things they do. (john 14:6 and many others). He is the One who said the "stakes" are extremely high, and what a person does and decides about HIM will actually determine their eternal future. For He did say, that if you want to get to heaven or have eternal life without going through Him, "you must be perfect, as your Father in Heaven is perfect (matt 5:48)". Now as anybody can see that is a standard that NOBODY can meet. So according to Him, you MUST come to Him if in fact you want eternal life. This would include Atheists, Sceptics, Religious People (Hindus, Islamists, Catholics, Protestants, Buddhists,) or any other religion. A person has a free choice NOT to believe Him, But not to change WHAT He said. He was pretty clear about it. And He has commanded us to preach that message. It should not be done rudely, arrogantly, or with a "chip on our shoulder". If someone rejects the "gospel' it should be because they dont like what JESUS says, NOT how we say it. We should always be careful that it is the Gospel that people are offended by (and He said they WOULD be) and not US. It can be a "tightrope" to walk.----theBerean

Hey Thanks for your consideration on this matter i guess the answer to your Q is none.
Before continuing I have to clear my position as an atheist.
The fight between two groups who think their own ideas are right leads to no progress.

And amazingly they're both right since the believers stand upon belief and the atheists on scientific evidences.
And it is very hard to prove them that belief is not something you can decide on (since they say we believe in God, We feel him,
Did the universe create itself and .... so they decide he exists)

In order to be kind, caring, responsible and... you don't have to be
a God believer you can be a part of any belief and be a good person.
you may believe in God and kill people like Islam extremists or christian fundamentalists.
And my guess is that by taking out belief and faith and with good education we can have a better world with less crises.
This era is the era of illumination and science and no more room is left for dogma.
I recommend everybody reading books from Richard Dawkins, Sam Harris and Neil Tyson to get a better understanding of the world.
Especially Selfish Gene,God Delusion by dawkins, and Death By Black Hole and Origins: Fourteen Billion Years of Cosmic Evolution By Neil Tyson

There is an offense to the cross of Jesus Christ. It's not an annoyance to Atheists, it's an outright offense, as it is to you, Questioner, if you'll examine your heart. I don't apologize for it. Jesus chose to die a horrible death on the cross to pay the penalty for sin and I will not treat it lightly. I won't call it a personal conviction when the very God who created the world died for sin. That's fact, not personal conviction.

Atheists are usually highly insulting and profoundly terse in their comments to theists, particularly Christians. A few of them and they are vile, rude, and highly condescending. Their language is full of insults, profanity, and blasphemies. Basically, no meaningful conversation can be had with them.
