There are two many forums here in which people talk all nonsense about Islam, it is time to tell them that Islam is the most wonderful religion in the world

For the people who are Ignorant about Islam and think that it is a brutal religion, I would advise to leave answering or suggesting bogus Ideas and go thru the websites on Islam. I will give you the information about the origin of Islam, rest It's very easy to surf thru the Internet.

We the Muslimes believe that God revealed the holy Qur'an to Muhammad SW and that Muhammad SW is Allah's final prophet. The Holy Qur'an and the traditions of Muhammad SW in the Sunnah are regarded as the fundamental sources of Islam. We do not Regard Mohammad SW as the founder of a new religion but as the restorer of the original Monotheistic faith of Adam, Ibrahim and other prophets whos messages had become xorrupted overtime ( or according the some authorities only misinterpreted) Like Judaism and Cristianity, Islam is considered an Abrahamic religion.
The fundamental concept of Islam is the Oneness of God or Tawhid(Monotheism) which is absolute, Not relative or pluralistic.
So the people who believe in Monotheism are not very different from us.

Yes this is true.Infact thoes who will study the islam as a neutral. they will find that Islam teachs to be faithfull to all the Religion.
The religion of IBRAHIM and ISHAQ and so on MOSES till Jesus and also to the Second Son of IBRAHIM that is ISMAEIL and till Muhammad(peace be upon all).
So a muslim can never be a muslim untill or unless he/she put believe on all Prophets and their Holy books. but question is that alots of books are now changed and people changed them. So we cant say that they are now in their original format.
but that doesnt mean that we should start abuse on them . its never be the case.
Islam the the religion that fullfills the other religions and confirm them. People who done confirm it have a point of opinion that they want to rule on their lives and they never wanted that ISLAM restrict them in some rules. easy examples are open sex , gay marriage.. lesbian etc . Now by law these all things seems to be okay but while talking about supreme law that is religion(any one) forbade us to do this then we say no this should be lil bit change so by passing the supreme law means that you are putting ur selves in dangour.
Anyways Islam is not only the religion . it is also a way of life that how one must pass his/her life. It provides us solution for humanity.
Thoes who are against it there could be following reason.
1-They dont know about islam
2-They are victimize by the media.
3-Some wrong actions by unfaith full muslims.(As eveil and good exists in all era).
4-Lacking of knowledge.

So any true muslim can never abuse to any religion because it is one of requirement of islam's faith that believe on all religions and ofcourse all religion are sent by Allah.

Allah wanted to choose pious peoples among us so He could reward us in next world.

I am a born again christian and I would just like to state: I wish more peace loving and God fearing people of the Islamic faith, would stand up and denounce the extremists, who give their religion a bad name.

I understand Islam, having practiced it faithfully for a decade.

I left Islam after a good year of self-examination, religious study, and prayer.

I'd really rather see Islam (and not Muslims, many of whom are wonderful people in spite of their religion) simply evaporate from existence.

While it's at it, it can take Christianity and Judaism with it.

We are trying hard but there are some people that are really rude and closed minded. They enjoy making fun of our religion and insulting it too.They think that this is freedom of speech!!! when u insult and swear and make a joke out of any religion not just ours.
It acctually depends on how people were brought up.Did they learn to respect other people???
Any religion is not a joke ... There should be respect!!!!
Funny when people hear or see a story and then say all Muslims are like that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is nice that you have some kind of religion, some kind of faith. I think the suicide bombing thing with the so-called claim that this has something to do with religion may have something to do with proving one's sincerity.

There is a need to prove our sincerity before God. Some may choose these barbaric ideas like suicide bombing or infanticide. Some may think proving our sincerity before God means getting martyred and tortured over our faith. Some may think proving our sincerity before God means cutting our body and bleeding all over.

But, God, the Supreme Being, is a God of love. He does not need our torturing ourselves or torturing others. We show Him our love by trying to understand Him, acknowledging His glory, and making offerings of love to Him. God doesn't need anything from us, He just wants our love.

Yeah, i highly agree with you. Every religion is wonderful. People who bash each other's religion should go back to elementary school to learn respect and how to be a good boy. And they should also learn more about each other's religion instead of promoting false ideas, which is a waste of time.

am not muslim but what i've noticed is that alot of people are ignorant about Islam.they think that every muslim is another Osama. they think that muslim women hate to be 'covered under the veil' and that Islam is a secret haven of evil. from what i have learnt about Islam just by watching the way of life of my muslim friends, Islam is a "romantically" deep religion founded on deep respect and fear of God. just some christians, there are those muslims who are selfish and live by their own rules. but they should not be used as a yard stick to measure Islam as a whole.

You mean the 'religion of peace' which cuts people's heads off merely for belonging to another faith, or even a different branch of Islam? The ones who kidnap and behead an *unarmed woman* who did nothing but coordinate tens of millions of dollars in foreign aid to their people for 20+ years? The ones who object to being called violent by sending 6 gunmen to ambush and murder an unarmed nun? The ones who teach that Allah creates thousands of human beings who never get to live on Earth but exist only to serve as sex slaves for those who murder in his name? The ones who murder innocents in their beds, then smear their hands and faces in the blood and run up and down the street rejoicing? The ones who butchered the grandson and designated successor of their own Prophet over a petty temporal power struggle?

If that's your idea of 'wonderful' count me out!
