Boys can get taller at 17. Girls start the whole puberty thing earlier than boys, so they're finished growing by then, but boys can definately get taller. I had a friend who was about the shortest boy in school until junior year. He was just over 5 foot. By the time we came back for senior year he had grown to over 6 feet tall. That's probably the exception since most people are finished growing by then (and if they do grow it's unlikely to be a whole foot), but it proves that it can happen.

I'm sorry about the sleeping thing. I know how you feel. I'm a law student and we have a big paper due on Wednesday so I've stayed up all night every other night since last week. Hang in there!

yes you can. some people have slower growth patterns than the norm. for example i was 5"4" when i was 17 years old, at 21 years old i was 5'6".
my daughter also grew a couple of inches after high school, and two sets of friends of ours have sons who grew several inches from the time they were 17 til they were 19 and 20 years old.
hope this helps.

It all depends on bone maturity. Most girls are done growing by 17, but a doctor can tell from special x-rays whether your growth plates have matured or not.

Absolutely, but it differs from what sex you are. I grew about 2 inches when I was 18. ISome men wont stop growing until they are 25. Typically girls will stop growing around 18 and men around 25.

ok well if you are male yes you dont completely stop growing till 21 but if you smoke it will stunt your growth. As long as you dont do drugs, stay healthy eat right and your parents are too short you should grow more. good luck with that!

sucks, but I stopped growing at about that age. I didn't get any taller even at 18 and I'm a guy. You may want to tie your feet to car and your hands to a car and have them drive in opposite directions and top speed.
