Ruah HaKodesh (Holy Spirit) tells me if I were to give ONE link to my Christian Brothers and Sisters....this is it. The law is not for Jews, and Paul's teachings are badly misused. Please read it!

Blessings and Shalom.

Kat it is not what the world calls Christian. It is what the early apostles did...before Rome got involved and corrupted it. More like Jewish plus Jesus.

I pray you are blessed with Much Shalom!

Thanks for the link I will certainly read up on it and compare it with scripture, it sounds like a valid investigation. I have always suspected that their is great misunderstanding of Pauls use and understanding of the law in Christ.

am assunming your Jewish or belong to Kabbalah...i assume. i haven't chelcked out that site yet but i'm already disagreeing with it becasue The Law of Moses(which I belive the Jews still live by) is the law that all christians live by. it is the only law. Jesus never changed anything(neither did Paul). He simply came to perfect the law. At least in my church, i don't think Paul's teachings are being misused.LOL. but the Law is for Jews and "gentiles" (i.e the rest of us.lol)

Lose all this nonsense before you go even further off the deep end.

That's not the Holy Spirit you're hearing, pal!

interesting, but a bit dry. as a christian, for one, the site is way too wordy for what i believe it is trying to convey. is it not clearly stated within the verses provided in the link that salvation is provided through faith alone? as christians our salvation is based upon faith, not works.

works of the law, implemented in the site, conveys that salvation cannot be grounded in our works. sin is inherent, therefore, no matter how righteous we are (even if we do adhere strictly to the laws), we can never be perfect enough to enter into heaven.

under the law, used in the verses referred to in the site, still maintains all people to be accountable for their actions. salvation is based on faith alone, and true forgiveness for our sins is granted only under true repentance; that is, because you are saved by grace, you are also saved in light of the responsibility that your intentions be pure, rather than abuse the mercy of god, which disregards the true intention of faith.

faith based salvation acknowledges that sin is inherent. its theologically irresponsible to say that it isn't. therefore, because sin is inherent, we will never attain salvation based on actions. that is why we cannot taint our perception of religion by thinking that our actions in any way, shape, or form influence our path to salvation. no matter how many times you sin, or repeat sin, forgiveness is always available for those with pure hearts. this does not mean that we are permitted to sin deliberately under the cover of grace.

work based salvation implies that, by our hands, we can become righteous enough for admittance into heaven. this cannot happen as we constantly sin. salvation based on faith alone signifies that we will never become righteous without the help of god. we do not become saved because our sins have stopped (works of the law), we become saved in spite of our sins, because we realize our sins need to be stopped (under the law), which can only be done with the help of god. that is why as christians, we are still to uphold (as close as possible) a standard by which god set a precedent for us to live.
